When I got Linux Pro Magazine, issue March 2008, there was a DVD included "Mandriva 2008 Power Pack". I have an old machine and I decided to give it a shut and try this Linux distribution.

Ontario Election and Religious Schools, a very dangerous decision
Submitted by Hamed on Mon, 10/08/2007 - 13:07.I don’t care about Liberals. In other words, I don’t like them at all. But the one and only thing which scares me a lot is the decision about supporting religious schools from Conservative party.
What are earth they are thinking? I don’t believe something like this is happening in Canada. Maybe they have forgotten the religious power and how dangerous is was. After so many years moving forward, are they really want to jump backward?
The war is still on
Submitted by Hamed on Thu, 06/14/2007 - 21:22.It was the first weekend of June in Toronto. Usually at this time of year, the weather gets warmer. But that weekend was totally different. Wind was blowing hard. Rain drops were so big and powerful, and thunderstorm was making weird noises, like we had a war going on here. And there she was standing. You couldn’t read anything from here face. Not depressed, not hopeful, maybe something in between. I was standing right beside her. She looked at me and started to talk.
One afternoon...
Submitted by Hamed on Wed, 05/16/2007 - 22:41. ہ
Freedom and Islam
Submitted by Hamed on Tue, 05/08/2007 - 10:24.It was a lovely Saturday afternoon on April 2007 in Toronto. I went to downtown with one of my friends. Lots of stuff was going on there. On the south-west corner of Yonge and Dundas Street, you could see two drum players playing together, and there was a man with a cassette player standing right beside them, playing some kind of evil music. His face was painted in black and whole his dress was dark. I wish I had my camera with me. Right behind them was a table with a group of young men, at most 16 years old. All of them were black people. The sign said “Free Information about Islam”.
Demonic Sufi
Submitted by Hamed on Fri, 04/27/2007 - 22:39.Last week I wrote about music, and what I have experienced last year. It was about Khash and his music.
As I promised, I’m putting a few sample of this great music for you to enjoy…
Criminal and Society
Submitted by Hamed on Sun, 04/22/2007 - 19:18.It was only one week ago. I was going to bed, like most of the nights that I watch 11 o’clock news before turning off the TV, I did the same. And that was the time when the shocking news hit me. “Shooting at Virginia school”. First they said 21 people killed. Among them were one professor and the rest students. It is that simple. In one or two sentences we can give the news of 21 people, 21 lives, “Done”! Is it really that simple?
Music that lives for ever
Submitted by Hamed on Sat, 04/14/2007 - 11:51.Most of my life I have enjoyed listening to music. Everybody has. There are many different kinds of music out there. Some of them come and go. But there are only a few that will be around forever. Those that are not time related, those that are beyond the walls that we know of. They pass all lines of dimensions and fly into other spaces. They take us somewhere beyond what we know as “here” and “there”. And they live with us forever.
Superstition, Religion, Everywhere is the same
Submitted by Hamed on Sun, 04/08/2007 - 22:19.I remember when I was a child, I saw something quite disturbing. It was a stupid, awful act that some Muslims did during one of their customs, “Ashora”. They stabbed themselves right on the head and made blood jumping out of it. They believe the more they made themselves suffer, the closer they get to god!
James Patterson and book club!
Submitted by Hamed on Tue, 04/03/2007 - 21:22.One of the things I do whenever I feel tired of working, is watching Hollywood movies. Many of them make you NOT to think and rest your mind for couple of hours, especially action ones. Couple of weeks ago I found a book by James Patterson, "Judge and Jury". I read it in one week and then I bought another one of his books, "Honeymoon". My job needs a lot of mind work and the reason I liked these books was exactly the same reason I like action movies. They are bunch of exciting stories that make you NOT to think and rest your mind while you are reading.
