It was a lovely Saturday afternoon on April 2007 in Toronto. I went to downtown with one of my friends. Lots of stuff was going on there. On the south-west corner of Yonge and Dundas Street, you could see two drum players playing together, and there was a man with a cassette player standing right beside them, playing some kind of evil music. His face was painted in black and whole his dress was dark. I wish I had my camera with me. Right behind them was a table with a group of young men, at most 16 years old. All of them were black people. The sign said “Free Information about Islam”. They were distributing free Quran. You could see their innocent faces. I wish I had the power to take them back to decades ago, even centuries, to middle-east, where I came from, and to show them the truth behind those lovely things they were hearing about Islam. If you were standing beside that table, you could see that black-painted man with evil face right behind the sign that said “Free Information about Islam”. It was a coincidence, but true. It was exactly the figure of what has happened to people like me, to great-great-grand parents of my great-great-grand parents. When they come, they wear white. They say nice things. They attract people so fast. But suddenly, you see the black picture behind it and it is so late. You have no more power. You have to obey and be silence. You loose everything, even your most private thoughts.
Yes, I know what you say. This is Canada, freedom of speech. But let me ask you a question: How long have you been fighting to gain this freedom? One hundred years? Two hundred years? More? What would you do if I tell you the freedom you are giving to these people would soon come and hunt you? What if I tell you what you see today, would not happen again if you let them speak? They are now acting peaceful. There they are right beside two drum players. But soon, when they have enough people, they would destroy every drum player and his drum if they play in the city where they live. And you know what they say? They say: “This is order of god. Everybody should obey what god says, and certainly, god speaks only through us”!!
If you don’t start to act now, you will loose everything, I mean everything.
It is not a bad idea if you could at least read a little history of Iran and what happened there when Islam came around.
